The eternal and ever transforming essence of Sanatana is beautifully captured by the Sarvabhāvamaya (सर्वभावमय) Shiva Shakti Mala. This mala is a true representation of the cosmic creation of Shiva in his form as Rudraksha with Shakti in her form as Prakriti. There is no boundary or fixed definition of “end” when it comes to Shiva Shakti Mala, it is therefore called Sarvabhāvamaya. Any mala beyond the Indra Mala is called the Shiva Shakti Mala.
The Concept of Sarvabhāvamaya:
Sarvabhāvamaya is a deep and integral concept in Tantra and Shaiva Siddhanta. It proclaims Shiva as the ultimate form of reality in every existence. Any and every manifestation is ultimately an expression of Shiva through Shakti.
The Sanskrit word Sarvabhāvamaya (सर्वभावमय) is composed of:
-
Sarva (सर्व) – Meaning " The Totality."
-
Bhāva (भाव) – Meaning "Existence"
-
Maya (मय) – Meaning "made of."
The word defines Shiva as the ultimate form in every existence. In the concept of Shiva Shakti Mala, since we do not know the purpose or even powers of the Rudraksha above the 28 Mukhi Rudraksha, it is believed that whatever they might be, they shall be integrated as a part of the Shiva Shakti Mala as they ultimately represent Lord Shiva expressing his highest form through Shakti (nature).
Vashitva (वशित्व) Siddhi and Shiva Shakti Mala:
The Vashitva Siddhi is an outwardly focused Siddhi among the Astha Siddhi. The person who has worn the Indra Mala has attained all the Siddhis and energies required for the self, the Shiva Shakti Mala now provides them with a unique ability to transform their surroundings and guide others towards the path of spiritual illumination. The true Guru is the one who sees divine presence in all existence and this essence and understanding is captured to its entirety in the Shiva Shakti Mala. The Vashitva Siddhi allows one to have energies and power to positively transform the other person and the surroundings.
Composition of the Shiva Shakti Mala:
The Shiva Shakti mala is Sarvabhāvamaya and has no end. Any Mala that goes beyond the definition of the Indra Mala is said to be the Shiva Shakti Mala. The Mala itself is a sadhana and it is believed that Shakti creates Rudrakshas beyond 21 only when there is a Sadhak ready in their journey to understand and harness the energies of the Rudraksha.
Ruling Deity and Planet
The Shiva Shakti Mala is ruled by all deities but primarily represents the creative and coexisting energy of Sada Shiva and Shakti. There are no planets, deities or gods beyond this cosmic dance between Shiva and Shakti, which is represented by the ever transforming Shiva Shakti Mala.
Who Should Wear This Mala?
The Shiva Shakti Mala is worn by advanced Sadhaks and chosen Individuals who have attained the highest state of spiritual growth. These Sadhaks often come across as normal individuals but carry immense force of transformative energy that can positively influence themselves and others.
